I, Troy Donahue, and my wife Michelle,were referred to Attorney Jim Loughlin by a friend. Michelle and I were having a difficult time with a contested probate matter. My friend had a similar issue with the same Attorney we were using at the time, before we met Jim. From our first conversation with Attorney Loughlin, we felt confident that he could get the matter resolved. He explained what he could do and how he would do it. We retained him that day. Later that same day he called us back with a date for a hearing. We had been waiting fifteen months with our previous Attorney, but they could not get us a hearing. Within two weeks we had our hearing. It took two days. Except for being sworn in, Michelle and I never spoke. Attorney Loughlin handled the whole process. And we prevailed at that hearing. Attorney Loughlin never spoke down to us. He always explained what was happening and answered our questions. He also would not do what we call the ” paper shuffle” – doing work just to bill hours to the estate. Many times we would suggest an action and he would say, “Yes we can do that if you want but you are spending money that you don’t need to spend.” The staff at Loughlin Law are also very professional and helpful. Lastly, we would like to say that Jim is not just a great Attorney, but also a good guy. When things get tough, he is very calming. When you get done speaking with him, you leave feeling he has your back. We highly recommend Attorney Jim Loughlin.
